John Vacon
81 Cardinal

    John Vacon
    February 2, 1956 - September 5, 2017

Surrounded by the love of his family, John ended his short but hard-fought battle with cancer. Left with a heart full of memories is his best friend, his soulmate, his wife, Darlene. Thankful for the amazing man she called Dad, his daughter Dusty-Jo (Noble) is left to carry on his legacy. The most precious gifts a man can receive, who loved him dearly and will miss him everyday, his grandchildren, Macklyn and Cai.

Heartbroken but better people for having been blessed with a sibling like John are his twin brother, Gord (Joan), Jim (Barb), Fred (Linda) and his only sister, Rose (Jim). John will be deeply missed by many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, his daughter in law Kelly and most especially his beloved companion, Kolo. John was a hard-working man who will be missed by his “family” at Ford Canada.

Waiting to laugh again with him in heaven are his three favourite ladies; his Mother Elva Newton, Big Grandma Mabel Smith and Little Grandma Eunice Smith. John will also be reunited with his two Dads, Gordon Vacon and John Newton.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thank you to Cindy and Donna at St Peter’s Hospital for their compassionate care of John.
